Paul Grimault's THE KING AND THE MOCKINGBIRD, written by Grimault and legendary poet and screenwriter Jacques Prévert, will be released by Rialto Pictures in a new restoration from Studiocanal, following its U.S. premiere at the New York Film Festival in October. Theatrical release is slated for Friday, November 21, when it will open at Film Society of LINCOLN Center in New York City, followed by a Los Angeles (Laemmle Theatres, December 19) and national rollout. The San Francisco Symphony plays Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, A Bug's Life, WALL-E, Cars, Up, The Incredibles, Monsters Inc. and Brave through Sunday July 20 at the building with perfect acoustics, Davies Symphony Hall. Film clips accompany their counterparts, and even the few Pixar films that disappointed find new life and movement when highlighted with their scores. Two hours of Pixar music is pure magic.
Disney/Pixar to Develop Sequels to CARS, THE INCREDIBLES

Disney Chairman and CEO Robert A. Iger today announced that Pixar Animation Studios will develop a third big screen installment of CARS, as well as a sequel to Brad Bird's 2004 superhero adventure THE INCREDIBLES.

The Walt Disney Studios has announced that its hush-hush Brad Bird project, previously known as 1952, will be titled TOMORROLAND. The studio has also announced that film is set for a domestic release on December 19, 2014.

According to the LA Times, Walt Disney studios has canceled their plan to release THE LITTLE MERMAID in 3-D this September. This decision arrives after poor box office performances for the 3-D re-releases of several other Disney films.

In the film, Tom Cruise fearlessly climbs up the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa, in Dubai without using any body double. In the promo clip below, Cruise is seen dangling off the skyscraper which height is not less than 2,723 feet. He is also seen bravely running up, down and sideways on the exterior of the building.
