Today, the Nederlander Organization and Estefan Enterprises jointly announce they have engaged in the process of developing and producing a new Broadway show inspired by the music made famous by International superstar Gloria Estefan and her husband musician/producer and entrepreneur Emilio Estefan.

Columbia Records announced that music is available today on CD from the '12-12-12' benefit concert, presented by Chase, to provide the most assistance possible to the victims of Hurricane Sandy through the Robin Hood Relief Fund. The fundraising concert at Madison Square Garden featured iconic performers, and a selection of 24 live tracks from the event is available now. The track listing for the 2-disc CD set is below. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is one step closer to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis thanks to a little help from some superstar friends. More than $1 million was raised in support of cystic fibrosis research efforts last night during a special performance 'Adding Tomorrows with Celine Dion,' a partnership with international music icon Celine Dion, Caesars Entertainment, AEG Live and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Held at Caesars Palace, the evening included a performance of Celine Dion's glamorous show by Grammy Awards producer Ken Ehrlich and featured a touching tribute to those with cystic fibrosis during her rendition of Billy Joel's 'Lullabye.'

Fourteen-time Grammy-Award winning singer-songwriter ALICIA KEYS will sing the National Anthem as part of Super Bowl XLVII pregame festivities at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on February 3, the NFL and CBS announced today. The performance will be televised live on CBS prior to kickoff.

When it comes to the number of award shows staged in a given season, the film, TV and recording industry no longer leave New York Cabaret in the stardust. Kicking off a 10-week period during which the Big Apple cabaret scene will now feature four award ceremonies (including the first-ever BroadwayWorld.com Awards on February 21, the 28th annual Bistro Awards on March 4, and the 27th annual MAC Awards on March 21), the 11th annual Nightlife Awards (voted on by a select group of cabaret and nightlife writers and critics) was staged at The Town Hall on January 14 and, for the most part, was a pleasantly entertaining event. Co-produced by Max Weintraub and nightlife impresario Scott Siegel (Broadway by the Year, 11 O'Clock Numbers at 11 O'Clock, Broadway Ballyhoo, et al), this year's show featured the usual mix of nightclub singing legends, budding cabaret stars, solid veterans of musical theater, outstanding jazz vocalists, stellar instrumentalists, and quirky comedians, almost all delivering the goods under the smooth direction of Scott Coulter.

Award-winning composer Jeremy Schonfeld (Drift, 37 Notebooks) has announced that Broadway's own Titus Burgess (Jersey Boys, The Little Mermaid), Adam Kantor (Rent) and Morgan James (Godspell, Motown) are many performers from the worlds of Broadway, television and music who will take the stage with him for the one night only event "JEREMY SCHONFELD & THE BROADWAY MESSIAHS" on Monday January 28th at the newly re-designed Cutting Room recently reopened at its new location (44 East 32nd Street, New York, NY) at 7:30 PM (doors open at 7:00 PM).

Bette Midler will star in John Logan's new play, I'll Eat You Last: A Chat With Sue Mengers, directed by Joe Mantello, opening on Broadway on Wednesday, April 24 at a Shubert theatre to be announced. I'll Eat You Last is produced by Graydon Carter, Arielle Tepper Madover, James L. Nederlander, and The Shubert Organization.

Alabama Shakes, Jackson Browne, Kenny Chesney, Ben Harper, Emmylou Harris, Faith Hill, Jim James, Elton John, Juanes, John Legend, Natalie Maines, Tim McGraw, Tom Morello, Mumford & Sons, Patti Smith, Mavis Staples, Sting, Eddie Vedder, and Neil Young will perform at the tribute concert in honor of 2013 MusiCares Person of the Year Bruce Springsteen. The sold-out gala will take place Feb. 8, 2013, two days prior to the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards. Additional performers will be announced shortly.
