On this episode of West of Broadway, Will and Lara swoon over their recent trip to the Pantages Theater to see the National Tour of The Bodyguard staring Deborah Cox. Welcome home, Bandstand! Earlier this week, a brand new musical took its place on Broadway at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre. Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler, (Hamilton) with music by Richard Oberacker and a book and lyrics by Robert Taylor and Richard Oberacker, Bandstand stars Corey Cott and Laura Osnes. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the sacred Gypsy Robe ceremony. As they sit in darkness, the first thing the audience hears is the sound of distant explosions. They come with an erratic frequency, edging frighteningly closer with each blast. But gradually, the sound becomes more rhythmic, adapting a fierce pulse until what we're hearing is a drum set beating out a swing tempo.

Dan Goggin's internationally acclaimed musical sensation, Nunsense, premiered the sinfully funny pilot episode of 'Nunsense: The TV Series' online, today, April 25, 2017. The new series, which features stars of stage and screen, is now available at www.nunsensetv.com. The pilot was shot at a former monastery in Union City, New Jersey.
