The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus, began rehearsals today (pictured, left) for the world premiere musical Waitress. Based on the motion picture written by Adrienne Shelly the new musical has a book by Jessie Nelson, music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles, direction by Diane Paulus, and choreography by Chase Brock.
Tammy Blanchard, John Benjamin Hickey & More to Star in Lincoln Center Theater's DADA WOOF PAPA HOT

Lincoln Center Theater has announced that Tammy Blanchard, Patrick Breen, John Benjamin Hickey, Alex Hurt, Kellie Overbey, John Pankow, and Stephen Plunkett will comprise the cast of its upcoming production of DADA WOOF PAPA HOT, a new play by Peter Parnell, to be directed by Scott Ellis. DADA WOOF PAPA HOT begins performances Thursday, October 15 and opens on Monday, November 9 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street).
THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY National Tour Announces Itinerary; See Where It All Began!

The national tour of THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, winner of the 2014 Tony Award for Best Original Score and Best Orchestrations, has announced its initial itinerary, launching in Des Moines, IA at the Des Moines Civic Center, with performances beginning Saturday, November 28th and an official opening on Tuesday, December 1st. Based on one of the most romantic stories ever written, THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY will travel to more than 15 cities in its first season, with additional cities to be announced. Young Vic's Acclaimed Revival of A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE Will Bow on Broadway This Fall

Direct from two completely sold-out engagements in London, producers Scott Rudin and Lincoln Center Theater will bring the Young Vic's critically-acclaimed production of Arthur Miller's A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE to Broadway this fall. The production, which swept the 2015 Olivier Awards — winning for Best Revival, Best Director, and Best Actor (Mark Strong) —will begin previews Wednesday evening, October 21 and open on Thursday, November 12 at the Lyceum Theatre, 149 West 45 Street. A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE will play an 18-week limited engagement through Sunday, February 21, 2016.
