Segerstrom Center welcomes music divas Amanda McBroom and Ann Hampton Callaway as they help kick off the 2017-18 Cabaret Series celebrating classics from the Great American Songbook and also entertaining audiences with their own works. Pianist and acclaimed songwriter Michele Brourman accompanies the duo in these stunning nights of song and storytelling, October 5 - 7 in Samueli Theater.

Actor/singer James Snyder premiered his touring cabaret show Soliloquy at the Catalina Jazz Club under the prolific banner Chris Isaacson Presents Thursday July 20. Snyder is one of those handsome Broadway leading men whose magnetic appeal is greatly assisted not only by boyish charm but more importantly by an infectiously off beat sense of humor, unpredictability...and... he has one of the most beautifully powerhouse tenor/baritone voices onstage anywhere. I can only think of one or two others who fill the bill as completely well as Snyder.

One of the first mountings of this production since the show's 2016 Broadway run, Cast Aside Productions will be bringing DISASTER! to the Mainstage at Portland Stage Company, July 13-16.

Producers The Shubert Organization and The Nederlander Organization announced today that the first-ever Broadway revival of CATS will play its final performance at 8 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 W 52nd Street) after 16 previews and 593 regular performances. Preview performances of CATS began Thursday, July 14, 2016 followed by a Sunday, July 31, 2016 opening night.

Earlier this evening, Pittsburgh CLO Guild President Anne Liparulo announced the Guild's pledge of $500,000 to Pittsburgh CLO's Next Generation Campaign at the 62ndAnnual Pittsburgh CLO Guild Gala, "An Evening in Paris." This special gift was presented as a surprise to Van Kaplan, accompanied by the 2017 CLOE Award, in honor of his 20th Anniversary as Executive Producer of the organization. The gift ensures Pittsburgh CLO will surpass its $10 million Next Generation Campaign goal.
