Audra McDonald has just received her 6th Tony Award for Best Performance by and Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for her role as Billie Holiday in LADY DAY AT EMERSON'S BAR AND GRILL. This year's Tony nomination marked McDonald's 8th. She now holds the record for most Tonys won by an actor, surpassing Julie Harris and Angela Lansbury with 5 Tony Awards each.

Late in the week, Orlando Bloom, Barrett Foa, Jonathan Groff, T.I., LL COOL J, Samuel L. Jackson, Judith Light, Rosie O'Donnell and Patrick Wilson were added to the star-studded lineup on THE 68TH ANNUAL TONY AWARDS®, live from Radio City Music Hall, Sunday, June 8 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/ delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Before Broadway's biggest night on Sunday, June 8th, 44 productions will have opened on Broadway in the 2013-14 season. Of those productions, 12 were eligible for Best New Musical and 10 were eligible for Best New Play at the 68th Annual Tony Awards.
