Barrington Stage Company, the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Managing Director Tristan Wilson, is proud to present the Berkshire County premiere of My Name Is Asher Lev, based on the acclaimed novel by Chaim Potok.

The cast of Engaging Shaw features Rod Brogan (George Bernard Shaw), Natalie Gold (Beatrice Webb), Angela Pierce (Charlotte Payne-Townshend) and Michael Warner (Sidney Webb).

Evans, announces casting for the Chicago premiere of Snapshots, by Stephen Schwartz and David Stern, and Alan Ayckbourn's Season's Greetings. The Snapshots cast includes Gene Weygandt in his third production with Stephen Schwartz, following Wicked and Working; and Susie McMonagle, direct from the Billy Elliott National Tour.

Arizona Theatre Company announces the selection of La Bella Familia by Edwin Sànchez as the winner of the 2011 National Latino Playwriting Award.

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast Premiere of John Morogiello's comedy Engaging Shaw. Directed by Henry Wishcamper, Engaging Shaw will run July 29 - Sept. 4 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of The Old Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run July 29 - Aug. 3. Arizona Theatre Company announces the selection of THE LAST RED BOOK by Tucson writer Michael Fenlason as the winner of the 2011 Arizona Playwriting Award. Fenlason will receive a cash award and ATC will hold a reading of his play. The runner up for the Award was NO ROOSTERS IN THE DESERT by Kara Hartzler. ATC's Arizona Playwriting Award is in its second year. It recognizes an outstanding work for the stage by an Arizona writer.
