Additionally, the band's newest song, “Electric Dream,” premieres at PopMatters, who says, “Replete with melodious, atmospheric synths and a cool, laid-back disposition, 'Electric Dream' feels a lot like what its name implies. The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra announced the November 9 release of its latest album, American Originals: 1918, under the direction of Pops Conductor John Morris Russell. The recording is inspired by America's cultural awakening at the end of the First World War one hundred years ago and the distinctly American musical styles that reflect the country's diversity. This album celebrates and reimagines popular songs of this era that remain fresh and relevant today with acclaimed musical collaborators including Rhiannon Giddens, Steep Canyon Rangers and Pokey LaFarge. The 95th Cincinnati Pops album was recorded live at Cincinnati Music Hall November 10- 12, 2017, and is being released on the Orchestra's label, Fanfare Cincinnati.

October 30, 2018 kicked of the return of Garth Fagan Dance to New York City. Their season at The Joyce Theater was full of new work and old revivals. This internationally-acclaimed company continues to use dance as a platform to honor and pay tribute to the African diaspora through the pioneering vision of Mr. Fagan and contemporary dance.

Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts is proud to present an original concert production, "Queen of Soul: A Musical Tribute to Aretha Franklin," on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. that will be directed by Grammy and Emmy Award winner John McDaniel.

Billy Porter was a guest on 'The Wendy Williams Show' on Thursday November 1st. During his interview, Porter dishes about his role on 'American Horror Story' and 'Pose'. Billy goes on to talk  about coming out to his family and reveals why he wrote an op-ed about being sexually abused when he was younger. He also explains why he and his husband only had a 16 day engagement.
