The Food Film Festival returns to New York City for its 12th straight year! The five-day Festival will feature a series of events where food and film lovers get to Taste What They See on the Screen...right in their seats! At each event, guests will be served the food from the films while they watch. Chefs and restaurants from New York City and beyond will present dishes from around the world as guests watch and eat a menu of independent food films in the Festival Theatre, followed by an official Festival AfterParty with more food, drink and fun each night.

The Television Critics Association (TCA) celebrated the top programs and performances of the 2017-2018 television season tonight at the 34TH Annual TCA Awards ceremony. The invitation-only event at The Beverly Hilton hotel, was emceed by writer, producer, and TV personality Robin Thede, host of the recent BET series “The Rundown with Robin Thede.”
Performance Art Icon Karen Finley Continues GRABBING PUSSY Thru Aug. 15

Karen Finley, a name synonymous with Performance Art, will present more performances of her new show GRABBING PUSSY, inspired by her new book of the same title from OR Books. It will now be presented through August 12, Sundays at 7pm at The Laurie Beechman Theater (inside West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street -- at Ninth Avenue, accessible from the A,C,E,N,R,V,F,1,2,3 trains at 42nd Street). Tickets are $22 for general admission or $35 for VIP tickets that include a signed book and a one-of-a-kind bookmark handmade by Finley. Please note that there is also a $20 food/drink minimum at all performances at this venue.

Todos, sin excepción, hemos llegado a sentirnos abrumados por las circunstancias de nuestra vida. Pareciera que en esta época moderna siempre se están buscando excusas para poner en tela de juicio nuestra propia felicidad. A raíz de esto, nos hace ruido como personalidades que parecieran tener la vida 'resuelta', deciden acabar con esa vida que muchos de nosotros muchas veces solo podemos anhelar (Avicii, Anthony Bourdain, entre otros). Con una vida que pareciera tener todo cubierto, ¿cómo es que puede existir siquiera espacio para la insatisfacción? Pues, muchas veces, la felicidad va mucho más allá del dinero, los viajes, las experiencias o las relaciones, a veces, es tan esquiva que simplemente parece que no podemos hallarla por ningún lado. Algunos incluso dirían que no existe. Dicho lo anterior, permítame presentarle una obra que sin miedo al impacto que esto pueda generarle, lo hará reírse de éste absurdo que a veces resulta la búsqueda por la felicidad: Consígueme una vida.

As a tribute to Anthony Bourdain and his gift of sharing extraordinary places near and far, Travel Channel will air a 12-hour marathon of the Emmy Award-winning series “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations” this Sunday, June 10 starting at 7:00 a.m. ET/PT. Fans will have a chance to watch celebrated episodes of the series including where he introduces viewers to the picturesque landscapes, exotic cuisines, and the mysterious history of Laos; his epic journey to Spain's Costa Brava to cook and dine at El Bulli, the “best restaurant in the world,” with chef Ferran Adria; and where he explores the food and people of the 'two Maines.'
Host of CNN's PARTS UNKNOWN, Anthony Bourdain, Dies at Age 61

Anthony Bourdain, the chef and gifted storyteller who took TV viewers around the world to explore culture, cuisine and the human condition for nearly two decades, has died at age 61. CNN confirmed Bourdain's death on Friday and said the cause of death was suicide.
