Episode 13 of Therapy with Pami is our today!

Co-creators Kaitlin Huwe and Stephanie Erb are releasing the first season of Therapy with Pami, a comedy series about Beverly Hills reality star Pami, who seeks sliding-scale therapy from the unflappable Dr. L after her seventh divorce. Together they delve beneath layers of delusion, dysfunction, and lip fillers to help Pami become her 'best self.'

Nashville's Oginalii (pronounced 'oh-gan-ALL-ee' and which translates to 'my friend' in Cherokee) have unleashed “Light As A Feather,” the fourth single from their forthcoming debut LP Cause and Affection. “With a ticking clock as an opening harbinger, Guitarist Emma Hoeflinger's voice twists and turns throughout the song like gnarled trees in oncoming headlights,” says Audiofemme in their premiere of the track. “Bandmates Ryan Quarles (guitar), Simon Knudtson (drums), and Emma Lambiase (bass) attack from all angles, creating a call and response between the music and lyrics.” Light As A Feather  channels both anxious energy and childhood mythos as it explores the idea of coping with stress and anxiety in a healthy way.

Bay Area Children's Theatre (BACT) students in BACT's Advanced Performers the company's by-audition-only traveling musical theatre team brought home five awards last week from the Junior Theatre Festival West, a celebration of youth and musical theatre that attracts more than 1,800 theatre students, educators and professionals to Sacramento each year to share excerpts from productions and hear critiques of their performances from theatre pros.

Yesterday, Nashville's Oginalii (pronounced 'oh-gan-ALL-ee' and which translates to 'my friend' in Cherokee) garnered some hometown acclaim with the release of an OOKO Studio Live Session featuring acoustic versions of 'No Littering' and 'Static,' two tracks housed on their forthincoming debut Cause and Affection, out April 5th. No Country For Nashville, which premiered the sessions, says that the songs channel 'the more intimate vibe of the group's acoustic beginnings (before they reappear on the album in all of their electric, face-melting glory). In their deconstructed format, the songs really showcase [Emma] Hoeflinger's powerful and earnest vocal delivery, and expert ability to craft nuanced and layered tunes at their core, weaving between genre conventions and building to soaring, gut-punching sonic highs.'

St. Vincent joins the artist lineup for BREATHEWATCHLISTENTOUCH: The Work and Music of Yoko Ono at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Friday, March 22. Throughout this exceptional evening, Ono's art and music will be performed by a diverse group of artists - whose work is informed by Ono's legacy - in a concert-length celebration of her 60-plus year career. The concert is part of the LA Phil's season-long Fluxus Festival.

'Empathy is more than foreplay. Trying to grow understanding in any kind of relationship is difficult, especially when it's hard to relate from the beginning,' says shredder and vocalist Emma Hoeflinger of the song's meaning. 'That's why empathy has always and will always be at the forefront of situations I put myself in. Trying to put yourself where others are mentally and emotionally gives you insight into what it's like to be outside of yourself. This glimpse into another's perspective makes you a better human in my opinion. 'Forgotten Kindness' is about just that,' she continues. 'This song is about humbling oneself, and instead of blaming others for the chaos around you, taking action and growing from it.”
