MTV and Logo, two Viacom networks, jointly announced today that Dan Savage, syndicated columnist, author, co-creator of the It Gets Better Project, and star of MTV's upcoming series 'Savage U,' will anchor a 60-minute 'It Gets Better' special, which will spotlight the emotional and societal struggles many LGBT youth face.

Theatre fans everywhere are already itching to see Les Misérables brought to the big screen, and though the film isn't due to hit theatres until December 7, rehearsals have already begun for the new movie. As first reported on Deadline.com, actor and singer Michael Arden will be joining the cast of Charlie Sheen's upcoming comedy series ANGER MANAGEMENT.

Cameron Mackintosh announced today that Ramin Karimloo will extend his run playing 'Jean Valjean' in the legendary musical "LES MISÉRABLES" at the Queen's Theatre until 31 March 2012. David Shannon will then return to the role of 'Jean Valjean' from Tuesday 3 April - Saturday 16 June 2012. He will be followed by Geronimo Rauch who will play the role from Monday 18 June 2012 until Saturday 15 June 2013

The highly anticipated movie version of LES MIS is currently in production, and last night, February 12, several of the stars of the film were in attendance at the 2012 BAFTA Awards. The Actors Fund, the nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment, will present a benefit reading of A. R. Gurney's classic Love Letters starring Patricia Clarkson and Bryan Batt. This one night only event, just in time for Valentine's Day, will be on Monday, February 13th at 7:30 pm at The Westside Theatre.
