The new Broadway musical An American in Paris opened on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street). Directed and choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon, it is inspired by the Academy-Award winning film. An American In Paris brings this classic tale to Broadway for the first time with music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and a book by Tony nominee and Pulitzer Prize finalist Craig Lucas. Tickets are now available for the upcoming production of the Iowa Premiere of BIG FISH: THE MUSICAL, produced by Adolescent Anarchy and partnering with Des Moines Young Artists Theatre. Performances run May 1-10 at the Viking Theatre at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. Big Fish is a musical with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and a book by John August. It is based on Daniel Wallace's 1998 novel, Big Fish: A Novel of Mythic Proportions, and the 2003 film Big Fish written by August and directed by Tim Burton. Jake Gyllenhaal, Chuck Cooper and Taran Killam will join the previously announced Ellen Greene in the Encores! Off-Center concert production ofHoward Ashman and Alan Menken's Little Shop of Horrors, running July 1-2, 2015. NOTE: A third performance has been added at 2pm on Thursday, July 2 in order to meet ticket demand. The production will be directed by Dick Scanlan, with choreography by Patricia Wilcox. Jeanine Tesori is the Artistic Director of Encores! Off-Center, and Chris Fenwick is Music Director. The show will mark the musical theater debuts of both Gyllenhaal and Killam.

Adelaide's Award winning Hills Musical Company will present a new production of the Tony Award winning musical, YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN in the Stirling Community Theatre, Stirling from Friday 24 April through until Saturday 9 May for nine performances only.

Kate Baldwin and Conor Ryan, the stars of the Keen Company production of John & Jen, the musical with music by Andrew Lippa, lyrics byTom Greenwald, and a book by Greenwald and Lippa, just headed to the recording studio to preserve the 2015 Off-Broadway Cast Recording for Broadway Records. A June 16th release is planned. Andrew Lippa and Michael Croiter will produce the album. Musical Director is Lily Lang. This recording will include the premiere of the new song, 'Trouble with Men,' as well as new orchestrations and two songs from the score never before recorded. The entire cast is now set for the special invitational presentation of Kurt Vonnegut's SLAUGHTERHOUSE FIVE, a new musical, today, April 7th at 3 PM at the Snapple Theater Center (50th Street at Broadway). Music for SLAUGHTERHOUSE FIVE is by Jed Feuer (THE BIG BANG, EATING RAOUL), with book & lyrics by Adele Ahronheim (THE WILD SWANS, THE CAPTAIN'S DAUGHTER). The presentation will be directed by Gabriel Barre (AMAZING GRACE, Andrew Lippa's THE WILD PARTY, JOHN & JEN).

Artistic Director and multiple Jeff Award-winner William Pullinsi lends his expertise in the first professional locally-produced staging of the beloved musical running May 7th through June 7th at 1040 Ridge Road in Munster with press opening on Sunday, May 10 at 7 p.m.
