Broadway Gives Back has announced that the Third Annual 'Broadway Charity Songs' concert will be recorded by Broadway Records as part of their 'Live from 54 Below' series. The concert will feature new songs written by Sting, Brian Yorkey, Andrew Lippa, Henry Krieger, Pasek & Paul, and others.

Ocean State Theatre Company (OSTC) has announced that its fourth season in their state-of-the-art theatre located at 1245 Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick, will open with the magnificently macabre musical comedy, The Addams Family.

DANCENOWNYC kicks off its 20th anniversary season with the world premiere of NEWYORKnewyork@AstorPlace, a new dance-theater work by Obie and Bessie Award-winning choreographer Mark Dendy. Performances will take place Wednesday-Friday, May 6-8 at 7pm, and Saturday, May 9 at 7pm and 9pm, at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater.

During the Randolph Academy's 23rd season of shows, audiences will cheer on unlikely leading ladies, fall in love with even less likely leading men, celebrate the antihero and give the underdog a fighting chance. It's all about transformation this season, which kicks off today, March 17, 2015, with Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead.

Currently playing at the Athens Theatre in DeLand is the classic musical YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN. Based off the comic strip made famous by Charles M. Broadway In Chicago will soon welcome Tony Award® nominee Annaleigh Ashford (Kinky Boots, Chicago production of WICKED, You Can't Take It With You and Masters of Sex) as she makes her solo Chicago premiere with an evening of song, story and sequin in her critically-acclaimed, Lost in the Stars, for one-night only on Saturday, March 21 at 8 PM at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. The Public Theater welcomes Tony Award nominee Jonathan Groff to the cast of HAMILTON as 'King George' tonight, March 3. Groff, who performed in The Public's recent revival of Hair as well as The Bacchae and The Singing Forest, is replacing Brian d'Arcy James, who will be starring in Something Rotten on Broadway this spring.

Singer/ actor Joshua Dixon, having received the Bistro Award for Debut, the Broadway World Cabaret Award for Best Male Debut, and the Theater Scenes Cabaret Honors List for Outstanding Male Debut, as well as a MAC(Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs) nomination in the same category, returns to the Duplex stage in his acclaimed triumph, FLY UP!, for two special performances on Sunday, March 8th at 7:00 PM and Saturday, March 14th at 9:30 PM. It won't stop raining. Whenever I'm at Woolfe Street, we stand outside, rain or shine and talk. Before a show, on breaks, during intermission and after. We usually discuss the play in question, whether it is a performance or rehearsal. Most of us have worked together. If we haven't worked together, then we've seen each other perform. And we're all local. We're talking about more theatre. There's something ancient about it, especially when its raining. That area of downtown Charleston reminds me a lot of London- kind of industrial- with the cold and the smell of rain. Whenever I'm there (or in any theater really) I feel like I'm a part of something lasting, something bigger than myself. Sierra- the stage manager- usually calls us inside and so it goes. Anyway, its familiar. And its raining.
