GLEE, the genre-defying new musical comedy series, follows an optimistic teacher who against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach attempts to save McKinley High's Glee Club from obscurity while helping a group of aspiring underdogs realize their true star potential.

Tony Award winner John Lloyd Young will guest star as a 'former wood shop instructor with a voice of gold' on the upcoming FOX series GLEE. Lloyd Young described the role 'as great fun, the whole cast is top notch and full of talented film and theatre actors.' His guest starring episode will air Wednesday, Sept. 16th.

Fox television series GLEE had its series premiere Wednesday, September 9 at 9pm EST. The Ryan Murphy series had a special sneak preview on May 19.

FOX announced changes to its fall premiere schedule today. The 2009-2010 season will kick off Wednesday, Sept. 9 with the sixth season premiere of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) followed by the series premiere of GLEE (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

The cast of the new fall comedy GLEE is hitting the road this summer in search of 'Gleeks' at a mall near you! At the live ceremony yesterday evening, Sunday August 9th, 'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson claimed surf boards both for best movie actor and best hottie. The Jonas Brothers rode five boards to victory, but Miley Cyrus beat them, as she claimed six.
