Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) announced Zachary Levi (Georg) will star alongside Laura Benanti (Amalia), Rene? Auberjonois (Maraczek), Gavin Creel (Kodaly), Michael McGrath (Sipos) and Jane Krakowski (Ilona) in a new Broadway production of SHE LOVES ME, directed by Scott Ellis, choreographed by Warren Carlyle with musical direction by Paul Gemignani. This classic musical comedy features a book by Joe Masteroff, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and music by Jerry Bock.

Berkeley Rep presents its 2015-16 season opener, the theatrical world premiere presentation of AMELIE, A NEW MUSICAL, starring LES MISERABLES' Samantha Barks, begins previews today, August 29 and opens on Friday, September 11. It runs through Sunday, October 4, 2015.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre has announced that award-winning British actress Samantha Barks will star in the world premiere of AMELIE, A NEW MUSICAL directed by Tony Award winner Pam MacKinnon (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?). Barks, who is best known for her stand-out performance as Eponine in the film adaptation of LES MISERABLES, will portray the inquisitive and charmingly shy Amelie. Her most recent theatre credits include City of Angels, Cabaret, and Oliver! in London's West End, and Chicago at The Hollywood Bowl. She will be joined by Randy Blair (Hipolito), Adam Chanler-Berat (Nino), Alison Cimmet(Amandine/Philomene), Carla Duren (Gina),John Hickok (Raphael/Bretodeaux), Alyse Alan Louis (Georgette/Fluffy/Sylvie), and Paul Whitty (Joseph).

Gingold Theatrical Group's PROJECT SHAW just presented the 1912 one-act comedy OVERRULED, last night at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre (2895 Broadway at 95th St.). Overruled starred Robert Cuccioli (Mr. Lunn), Heidi Armbruster(Mrs. Lunn), Alison Cimmet (Mrs. Juno), Dan Butler (Mr. Juno), in which two couples are determined to find romance...but not with each other. GTG's Founding Artistic Director David Staller directs.

The Old Globe today announced additional performances for the second production of the 2014 Summer Season, Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Into the Woods, which made its World Premiere at The Old Globe in 1986. The production is an inventive reimagining by Fiasco Theater, directed by Noah Brody and Ben Steinfeld, in a production that originated at McCarter Theatre Center. By popular demand, it will now play through Sunday, August 17. Tickets for the extension will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, July 29 at noon.

The production is an inventive reimagining by Fiasco Theater, directed by Noah Brody and Ben Steinfeld, in a production that originated at McCarter Theatre Center.
