The award-winning New York production of David Byrne and Fatboy Slim's musical Here Lies Love will open the new Dorfman Theatre (formerly the Cottesloe), following its complete refurbishment as part of the NT Future project. Here Lies Love plays from tonight 30 September to 8 January, with a press night on 13 October.

The Tank, a non-profit arts presenter located in the heart of midtown, is proud to present the New York premiere Third Floor, a new play by Jason Hall, directed by Laura Pittenger, featuring Brad Root and Abigail Ludrof, with original compositions by Adam Cuthbert (universe explosion for the Bang on a Can Summer Festival), fight choreography by Meron Langsner (who has worked at The American Repertory Theatre and ArtsEmerson), and produced by LA Pittenger Productions. The show comes to The Tank following a successful engagement at the Lower Ossington Theatre in Toronto produced by DeCo. The show runs October 10-11, 17-18 at 7pm, with a 3pm performance October 19 at The Tank, 151 West 46th Street, 8th Floor in Manhattan.

New York's smash hit musical Here Lies Love, which continues its open-end engagement at the Public Theater and is traveling across the pond this month with a London production opening at the Dorfman Theatre, is now set to go Down Under with an Australian production set to premiere in May 2015.

Todomundo! is set to release The Remix Collection from Here Lies Love, featuring reimaginings of the music from David Byrne and Fatboy Slim's off-Broadway hit, on September 30, preorder it today here. A collection of 14 tracks remixed by Matt Stine and Justin Levine, all proceeds will be donated to Gawad Kalinga, a charity dedicated to typhoon relief and ending poverty in the Philippines for 5 million families by 2024. The album will be available at Here Lies Love performances at The Public Theater in New York and Dorfman Theater in London as well as via the Here Lies Love website, DavidByrne.com and other outlets.

New performing arts-centric Amazon series Mozart in the Jungle was officially picked up to series by Amazon following its audience popularity earlier this year and filming is now underway on the first season of the show, featuring appearances by Broadway notables Bernadette Peters and Constantine Maroulis, among others.

The Old Globe today announced the full cast and creative team for Marco Ramirez's ('Orange is the New Black,' 'Sons of Anarchy') wildly theatrical new play The Royale, directed by two-time Obie Award-winning and Drama Desk Award-nominated Rachel Chavkin. Founding Artistic Director of New York's the TEAM, Chavkin most recently won accolades for Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 (The New York Times, Time Out New York, and New York Post Critics's Picks, and Top Ten of 2012 and 2013). The Royale will run October 4 to November 2 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run October 4 - 8. Corden - a multi-faceted performer, host, writer and producer with accomplishments that span television, theater, film and comedy - will take the reins of the daily late night show in 2015.While that means good news for late night television audiences, it strikes a blow to the producers of the planned Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim's 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,' in which Corden was to star.

David Byrne and Fatboy Slim's' smash hit musical, Here Lies Love, directed by Alex Timbers begins Friday late night performances on Friday, September 12 at 10:30 p.m. at the Public Theater's LuEsther Hall (425 Lafayette Street, NYC). In addition to the late night performances, there will also be 7:00 p.m. performances on Fridays. This replaces the current Summer Friday schedule of 5:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. performances which play until Friday, September 5.
