As first reported on Deadline.com, Michael Emerson has joined the cast of the currently untitled upcoming Woody Allen film. The actor will join previously announced cast members Alec Baldwin, Cate Blanchett, Bobby Cannavale and Bradley Cooper.

Spanish conductor Rafael Fruhbeck de Burgos returns to the New York Philharmonic to conduct music from two secular cantatas: selections from Falla's Atlantida, and Orff's complete Carmina burana - which the Orchestra has not performed since 1995 - tonight, May 31, 2012, at 7:30 p.m., Friday, June 1, at 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, June 2, at 8:00 p.m. The international cast that Mr. Fru?hbeck has assembled for these performances features American soprano Erin Morley, American tenor Nicholas Phan (in his Philharmonic debut), South African baritone Jacques Imbrailo (debut), the Spanish chorus Orpheo?n Pamplone?s, Igor Ijurra Ferna?ndez, director (debut), and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus, Dianne Berkun, director.

Last night, the Paley Center celebrated Oscar, Emmy, and Tony Award-winner Christopher Plummer's television work (including Hamlet at Elsinore, Little Moon of Alban, and The Thorn Birds). NBC's top-rated summer series AMERICA'S GOT TALENT will kick off its highly-anticipated Las Vegas audition shows on Monday, June 25th at 9 p.m. ET and includes a third night of Vegas performances for the first time in the show's history.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series today announced the return of Broadway actress/comedienne JULIE HALSTON to the stage on Monday, July 23 at 7pm.

The 68th annual THEATRE WORLD AWARDS, which will take place on Tuesday, June 5th at 2 pm at The Belasco Theatre, 111 West 44th Street, NYC., will include special performances by Broadway favorites Brian Stokes Mitchell, Michael Cerveris, Howard McGillin and Stephanie Umoh. The by-invitation-only ceremony will present Theatre World Awards to 12 actors for their Outstanding Broadway or Off-Broadway Debut Performances during the 2011-2012 theatrical season. The event also includes presentation of the 4th Annual Dorothy Loudon Award for Excellence. This year The Theatre World Awards will have ASL interpretation.

FREUD'S LAST SESSION, the play by Mark St. Germain, will host special post-performance discussions after both the 2:30 & 8pm performances tomorrow, May 30th led by the playwright and the production's stars, Mark H. Dold (C. S. Lewis) and Martin Rayner (Sigmund Freud). They will also conduct Q&A sessions with the audience.
