As part of the continued diversification of its portfolio of films, Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF) has launched Lionsgate Premiere, a new specialty film distribution label, it was announced today

The Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by AT&T, today announced its feature film selections in the Spotlight, Midnight, and Special Screening sections as well as work in progress screenings. The 14th edition of the Festival will take place from April 15 to April 26 in New York City.

Balloting for this year's Actor® recipients will close tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 23, at Noon (PT). Final voting information was mailed to 111,228 eligible SAG-AFTRA members on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014. Votes must be cast online or previously requested paper ballots returned by Jan. 23 to Integrity Voting Systems, the SAG Awards' official teller. Theater for the New City, Crystal Field, Executive Director, and The After Dinner Opera Company present two new American operatic musical adaptations from classical works, Seymour Barab's operatic parody Out the Window based upon Georges Feydeux's farce 'Par La Fenetre;' and Rappaccini's Daughter, based on Nathaniel Hawthorne's gothic short story, with libretto by Linsey Abrams and music by Michael Cohen. Lissa Moira directs. HOUDINI, which follows the epic tales of the master escape artist as he emerges as the world's first bonafide superstar, also averaged averaged 1.5 million Adults 25-54 viewers and 1.2 million Adults 18-49 viewers in its9:00pm time period, according to Nielsen Fast Cable Ratings.
