La Femme Theatre has announced two initiatives - Women on the Verge, The Gladys and Mary Dohmen Reading Series, which will showcase emerging female artists, and A Woman's Storyland, a script development program that will develop diverse stories about the universal female experience.

Christine Ebersole to Guest Star on MADAME SECRETARY

Tony Award nominee and one of the stars of the upcoming Twentieth Century Fox film The Greatest Showman, Keala Settle, as well as cast members of Broadway's Miss Saigon, and Drama Desk nominee Ari'el Stachel and Etai Benson of The Band's Visit, have been added to the line up of this year's Elsie Fest - the first outdoor music festival celebrating the songs from the stage and screen.

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre presents the Off Broadway premiere of HARD LOVE, the searing 2003 play by Israeli playwright Motti Lerner. This first play of the 2015/16 season -- the company's 23rd -- is directed by TACT Artistic & Executive Director Scott Alan Evans, who most recently directed Beyond Therapy by Christopher Durang. The show is currently playing at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre. The play celebrated its opening last night, October 11th, and performances continue through October 31, 2015.
