Maia Wilson is an American singer and actress who made her Broadway debut in the Pulitzer prize winning musical Rent. She dazzled audiences with her high C, and beautiful voice in the popular musical after having been a part of the US tour, in which she also traveled to Japan and Canada. Miss Wilson was a featured member of the original cast of "Oprah Winfrey's the Color Purple the musical" one of the Church Ladies an audience favorite. Her regional credits include "Ain't Misbehaving", "Menopause the Musical", and "Smokey Joe's Cafe" Maia also was featured on Broadway in "Shrek", "9 to 5" the musical, and is currently on Broadway in the popular Tony award winning "Book of Mormon". A prolific singer/songwriter Maia Wilson is working on her debut album and club act, often writing under the pseudonym... Souluvlai.
