Rachel Whittington has performed all over Florida in various theatrical productions. The Studio credits: Missy in 9 to 5; Clown/Technician in Neighbors…; Kathy in Company; Stop Kiss; Bad Jews; and several Virtual Play Readings. Favorite Central Florida Credits: Gypsy, Guys and Dolls, A Christmas Carol (Athens Theatre); James Joyce's The Dead, The All-Female 1776 (Mad Cow Theatre); Sweeney Todd (Insomniac Theatre), Into the Woods (CFCArts), Equus (Dir. Jeremy Seghers). Other Credits: A Little Night Music, The Music Man, Gianni Schicchi, Don Giovanni, Dialogues of the Carmelites, Ben Folds and the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra. TV: The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. BA-Music: Elon University. When not performing, she works as a Literary Manager in Central Florida.

In Season 7 at The Studio, for the first time, all four of their productions are set in the past. Although they are contemporary works, the settings span from the turn of the 19th century to the 1980s. Many of the conflicts in these plays parallel modern issues we still face today. Each story is focused on characters demanding to be seen and understood for who they are.

Elegies is a heartfelt collection of songs about the deaths of various people Finn has known, including some of his closest friends and family members. This work is a commentary on the rewards and woes of being part of a family, a group of friends, and a society in good times and bad. Although the show is all about death and dying, it's no sad trip down memory lane. Never morbid, Elegies is touching, funny, and ultimately buoyant; floating on the spirits of those who inhabit its songs.
