It is often said that the road to Hell is paved with good intentions, and that very well might prove to be true for the Wyeth family in 'Other Desert Cities,' playing now through October 27th at Orlando's Mad Cow Theatre.

Season 17 starts off with a bang at Mad Cow Theatre thanks to Jon Robin Baitz's darkly comic look at two topics that should never mix: politics and family in the Tony Award-wining Other Desert Cities. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

At first impression the show seems gratuitously violent, but apparently revenge killings were a way of life during Shakespeare's time. Despite the blood and gore, TITUS ANDRONICUS became Shakespeare's most popular play. It is not recommended for the squeamish as buckets of stage blood is thrown about the stage along with chopped off body parts.

How I Became a Pirate, based on the bestselling children's book by Melinda Long with illustrations by David Shannon, has been touring Southwest Florida schools since November, and played to packed houses in the Lunchbox Theatre Series this fall. Admission for the Series is $12, and includes the performance, an interactive pirate workshop, and a lunch provided by The Morgan House.

Monty Python had it wrong - somebody does expect the Spanish Inquisition, namely audiences for Man of La Mancha. And those who come to The Human Race Theatre Company's production at The Loft will find themselves in the same dungeon as those awaiting their fate before the inquisitors.
