MARTY BONGFELDT
Ms. Bongfeldt has worked in Theatre, Film and Television with such directors as Susan Stroman, Ron Howard and Brian DePalma. Ms. Bongfeldt has originated roles in many new works produced in NYC including the Alexander Zhurbin production of A Nervous Splendor; Madly in Love directed by Baayork Lee; A Murder is Foretold; Hell’s Belles at The Duplex; and most recently created the role of the villainous Pamela in the new musical The Major and the Minor. Marty was a member of the original Dallas cast of the award winning musical Six Women with Brain Death, later performing in the NYC premier of that show. New York and Regional credits include: Ronnie in The Shooting Gallery production of Comanche Café & Domino Courts; Doreen in Gillette for the American Theatre Festival, Shelby in Steel Magnolias at The Plaza Theatre; and, at Music Theatre of CT: Sister James in Doubt, Fraulein Kost in CABARET and Jane in A.R. Gurney’s Ancestral Voices; Musical Comedy roles include: Amalia in She Loves Me/Lyric Stage; Lily St. Regis in Annie directed by Robert Fitch; Pam in Baby/MTC; Bonnie in Anything Goes opposite Van Johnson; Carrie Pipperidge in Carousel/Casa Mañana Theatre and Tiger Lily opposite Cathy Rigby in Peter Pan. A long time member of the Theatre Artists Workshop, Marty was seen as Marie in Come Back, Little Sheba and as Lydia Languish in The Rivals as part of TAW’s popular Classic Nights series.

Play With Your Food (PWFY) - Fairfield County's innovative lunchtime theater series -- has announced the selections for its upcoming productions in Westport (March. 4-6) and Fairfield (March 11). The selections for March will be filled with excitement and humor, promises Artistic Director Carole Schweid. Productions will include Molly and James by Sheila Walsh, The Interview by A.R. Gurney and Baby Food by Pulitzer Prize-winner David Lindsay-Abaire.
