BWW Review: A Little Touch of Harry in the Night: TAM Opens HENRY V

One of Shakespeare's best-loved history plays, Henry V, opened Friday July 23 at Maine's Theater at Monmouth in a stylish and stirring performance directed by Mark Mineart. Trimmed to a little over two hours, the production, nonetheless, keeps the architecture of the masterpiece and all the most famous speeches, and performed as it is by a strong ensemble, it achieves an immediacy and truthfulness.

BWW Review: CATCO's PETER AND THE STARCATCHER Takes Audiences on an Adventure to Neverland

The wooden deck and porthole windows that adorn the Vern Riffe Center's Studio One Theatre might cause landlubbers' legs to wobble a bit while finding their seats, but audience members need not fear seasickness when they come to watch CATCO's regional premiere of "Peter and the Starcatcher."

Photo Coverage: First look at CATCO's PETER AND THE STARCATCHER

Adventure, comedy, surprise, and music blend to transport audiences to the high seas in this prequel to the iconic story of Captain Hook and Peter Pan. It explains - among other things - how Peter got his name, how Captain Hook lost his hand, why the crocodile stalks them both, and how Tinkerbell came to be. Dare to imagine, hope, and dream. Catch the stars with Pan and company in Peter and the Starcatcher.
