Playgoers in the know will arrive at any production of the 1937 West End smash ME AND MY GIRL already humming a bit of its legendary Act I closer 'The Lambeth Walk,' looking forward to a rousing showstopper where composer Noel Gay's peppy earworm is matched with co-bookwriter/lyricists L. Arthur Rose and Douglas Furber's jaunty lyric celebrating that part of London where 'everything's bright and breezy' and you can 'do as you darn well please-y.'
Daniel & Laura Curtis to Release New Album in 2016

Daniel and Laura Curtis will be releasing a new album in the later part of 2016.  The album comes on the heels of their chart topping, 'Love On 42nd Street, that featured Broadway and West End artists like: Lea Salonga, Ramin Karimloo, John Owen-Jones, Sierra Boggess, Samantha Barks, and Simon Bowman. Due to the success of their first album, Daniel and Laura have been greatly anticipating working with many more wonderfully talented artists within the industry.

The ASCAP Foundation Awards Ceremony was held at The Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center and Broadwayworld was there. This years recipient of the Masters Award was composer John Corigliano. Mr. Corigliano has also won fiver Grammy's a Pulitzer Prize the Grawemeyer Award and an Academy Award for his many scores and compositions. Rupert Holmes, Composer, Playwright, lyricist, mystery novelist, arranger-conductor, screenwriter, record producer and singer-songwriter received the Foundations George M. Cohan Award which is made possible by the Friars Foundation.
ALKY Returns to Peoples Improv Theatre, 9/12 & 19

After a successful run earlier this summer at the PIT (People's Improv Theatre), ALKY: only the luckiest victims die is back! ALKY is a real teen drinking drama workshopped in Christian schools in the 80s in Texas and we perform it with twistedly funny adults who are 'under the influence'.
