This February, rising indie Shakespeare company Match: Lit brings to its audience one of William Shakespeare's best-loved comedies in As You Like It. The production is directed by Laurel Andersen (Barefoot Shakespeare, Occupy Verona, Turn To Flesh Productions) and is produced by Match: Lit's Executive Artistic Director, Kristin Sgarro, who also serves as the production's composer and musical director. The production will open Thursday, February 13 and close Sunday, February 23.

Casting has been announced for Match: Lit's mainstage production of William Shakespeare's As You Like It, presented at the Access Theater Gallery in February 2020.

Guy meets girl in the smash-hit award-winning musical. On the streets of Dublin, and Irish musician and a Czech immigrant are drawn together by their shared love of music. Over the course of one fateful week, an unexpected friendship and collaboration quickly evolve into a powerful but complicate love story. Once runs September 5 - 16 at the Kennedy Theatre in the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.

Just last night, Tectonic Theater Project celebrated Tectonic At 25!, a benefit performance celebrating 25 years of groundbreaking theater. The star-studded evening, directed by Tectonic Theater Project founder Moises Kaufman and hosted by and starring two-time Academy Award winner Jane Fonda, took place at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place, New York, NY 10012).

Wainwright is currently the Managing Producer of The Foundry Theatre and will assume her full-time duties at Tectonic on May 6, 2015.

The Araca Group has announced the seven shows that will comprise the 2014 Araca Project season, lasting from September 7th until November 2nd at the American Theatre of Actors. 'The Lower Depths' by Maxim Gorky is a powerful classical Russian play about a group of hilarious, downtrodden lodgers in a boarding house. Their lives consist of staving away hunger and poverty mixed with idle entertainment until a pilgrim, Luka, arrives on the scene. Luka brings with him tales of the world abroad as well as a seemingly bottomless supply of hope and dreams. He inspires the residents of the boarding house to reach and try to pick themselves up from the dregs of society, while teaching love and respect and responsibility. However, charged with the fire Luka kindles in them, the muck at The Lower Depths begins to stir, and the result is not as positive as Luka had hoped.
