Elaine Paige to Judge 2015 Stephen Sondheim Society Student Performer of the Year Prize


The Stephen Sondheim Society Student Performer of the Year and The Stiles & Drewe Best New Song Prize 2015 will take place at the Garrick Theatre in London on Sunday 17th May, 3pm. Special Guest Performer and Judge is Elaine Paige with Michael Xavier serving as host.

As part of the 20th anniversary celebration of the Stephen Sondheim Society, we will be paying tribute to Mr Sondheim and his genius, with a collection of material which affectionately celebrates and reflects our love for the great man himself in a brand new show GOD, premiering at London Theatre Workshop for only 6 performances this July.

The passion, complexity and pure joy of singing SONDHEIM knows no bounds for a performer, but for the 12 finalists of this year's The Stephen Sondheim Society Student Performer Of The Year Competition 2014 (SSSSPOTY), all will be revealed as they sing their hearts out competing for the title on SUNDAY 18 MAY at 3pm at the West End's GARRICK THEATRE. As if that weren't enough for them to sing in one afternoon, at SONDHEIM's request, the 12 finalists will also be singing the 12 new musical songs that are competing for The Stiles & Drewe Best New Song Prize.
