Kevin Wanzor BIO

Kevin Wanzor is a Brooklyn-born playwright, lyricist and performer. His current musical projects include with collaborations with Andrew Fox, Anna Dagmar and Caleb Damschroder. His plays include The Good Son and The Beginning and the End, the latter a finalist in the Davenport Short Play Festival. A musical adaptation of that same play, for which he wrote book and lyrics (music by Ronnie Reshef), was subsequently selected by Emerson College for their Developmental Lab Series. His songs have been featured as part of The New York Theatre Barn, and Broadway Charity Concerts, among others. With Anna Dagmar, he won the Silver Prize in the 20th Annual Mid-Atlantic Song COntest (Open Category). His song, Dream in Color, written with Natalie Tenenbaum for the Live Through Love organization, is currently available on iTunes.



Kevin holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University and is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild of America and Actor's Equity. He is also the artistic director of The Collaboration Project concert series, which pairs songwriters of disparate backgrounds to explore the collaborative process (Next installment coming soon!). Currently, Kevin holds the proud distinction of participating as both a lyricist and librettist in the Lehman Engel BMI Musical Theatre Advanced Workshop.
