The timely, entertaining, and thought-provoking solo show Breed or Bust by award-winning actor, director, and “story midwife” Joyful Raven returns to the Bay Area this spring at The Marsh Berkeley.

To breed or not to breed: that is the question Joyful Raven wrestles with in her new solo show. Blending standup and storytelling, Raven recounts her difficult reproductive “choices” and contends with her primal baby making instincts. Should she surrender to the role of weird aunty OR start a GoFundMe to freeze her geriatric eggs?

Tales is a raucous one-woman comedy about a lusty tomboy with bad boundaries from her hippie upbringing, looking for empowerment in all the wrong places. Blending standup and storytelling, Raven recounts some of the more hilarious and misguided moments from her treacherous path towards sexual liberation
