FALDO & FRIENDS™ Celebrity Gold and Tennis Tournament to Benefit City Harvest on Monday, 8/23


City Harvest has announced that Golf Icon and Broadcaster Sir Nick Faldo will host the second annual golf and tennis tournament, Faldo & FriendsTM Celebrity Golf and Tennis Tournament benefiting City Harvest, at the Alpine Country Club in Demarest, NJ on Monday, August 23rd.

Golf Icon and Broadcaster, Sir Nick Faldo, and Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian, along with many of their celebrity friends, will tee it up at the Alpine Country Club in Demarest, NJ on Monday, October 7th, announced veteran event marketer Herb Karlitz. The tournament will benefit City Harvest whose mission is to feed New Yorkers in need.

Bordeaux Wines Official Wine Sponsor For First-Ever Harlem EatUp! Food Festival


The Bordeaux Wine Council (CIVB) has announced its participation in the inaugural Harlem EatUp! festival. The four-day festival, May 14-17, was co-founded by Marcus Samuelsson and Herb Karlitz, and celebrates the food, culture and spirit of Harlem while paying homage to its roots and cultural fabric.

Goya Los Caprichos Opens at National Arts Club


On Thursday January 8th, the National Arts Club and its Office of Fine Arts, as directed by Dianne B. Bernhard, presented a rare series of etchings and aquatint, Los Caprichos, from the Spanish Master Francisco de Goya. The free exhibition, titled Francisco de Goya y Lucientes: Los Caprichosruns until January 31st.

The exhibition of 100 fashion and erotic drawings from the private collection of R. Couri Hay, photographs by Anton Perich and a screening of the Charles James documentary by Angela Bernhard Thomas will run until October 5th.
