Tickets are now on sale for the 6th Chicago International Puppet Theater Festival, the largest of its kind in North America, returning January 18-28, 2024.

​In 2024, the Chicago Puppet Fest will span 11 days and dozens of Chicago venues, featuring an international pageant of puppet artists sharing more than 100 puppetry activities including all ages spectacle shows, intimate works on small stages, even an adults-only, late night puppet cabaret.

Tickets are now on sale for the 5th Chicago International Puppet Theater Festival, the largest of its kind in North America, returning January 18-29, 2023, at venues large and small throughout the city.

The public is invited to explore the Chicago International Puppet Theater Festival's newly expanded space, including its teaching lab and puppet fabrication shop, Friday, October 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the historic Fine Arts Building, 410 S. Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago.

It's been surprisingly busy the past 18 months at the Chicago International Puppet Theater Festival, as organizers have piloted new programs and retackled festival planning, all while developing major expansion plans following a year-long strategic planning process.
