54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will present Anessa Marie in “A First Glimpse of Light” on October 30, 2022 at 9:30pm. Anessa Marie presents an evening of music from “A First Glimpse of Light,” a semi-autobiographical new musical telling the story of a 32-year-old trans actress as she prepares for gender confirmation surgery in New York City.

Elisa Winter (Sweeney Todd, Ten Cents A Dance, August Rush) will present shows at Littlefield on Friday, June 17: 'The Subconscious', an interactive, rock/pop performance where the band plays different parts of her personality, and 'Summer & Smoke', her upcoming grunge/electronica/rock album loosely inspired by the Tennessee Williams play.

The Broadway's Future Songbook Series - produced, directed, and hosted by John Znidarsic - continues its 2022 season on Monday, March 28th at 6PM. The free evening will spotlight the songs of acclaimed composer/lyricist Anessa Marie. This special concert will be held in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.

New York's acclaimed Classic Stage Company will mark its 50th birthday with a gala celebration on Monday evening, April 23 at Bohemian National Hall (321 East 73rd Street) recognizing Artistic Director John Doyle and Board Chair Lynn Angelson. The evening will feature special guest performances from Doyle's New York career including Cynthia Erivo, Judy Kuhn, and Donna McKechnie.

The women took the center stage last night at The Ladies Who Sing Sondheim- a gala benefit for Off-Broadway's esteemed Classic Stage Company. The evening was and directed by Tony Award winner John Doyle, who will become the company's new Artistic Director in July.  The evening included performances from Sondheim's canon by Patti LuPone (Gypsy), Victoria Clark (The Light in the Piazza), Cynthia Erivo (The Color Purple), Joaquina Kalukango (The Color Purple), Judy Kuhn (Fun Home, CSC's Passion), Marin Mazzie (Kiss Me, Kate) and Alexandra Silber(Fiddler on the Roof). Producers Southpaw Entertainment (Richard Lewis, CEO) and CJ E&M (Byeong-seok Kim, Senior Vice President) previously announced that August Rush, a new musical based on the critically acclaimed and Oscar nominated 2007 motion picture, which starred Robin Williams and Freddie Highmore, will have a developmental lab presentation today and tomorrow, December 9 and 10, 2014.

Producers Southpaw Entertainment (Richard Lewis, CEO) and CJ E&M (Byeong-seok Kim, Senior Vice President) announced today that August Rush, a new musical based on the critically acclaimed and Oscar nominated 2007 motion picture, which starred Robin Williams and Freddie Highmore, will have a developmental lab presentation in December 2014.

Reuniting for the first time since Parade, Brooke Sunny Moriber and Emily Klein will premiere a duet from Love Quirks, whose studio cast recording is now available on iTunes. The audience can expect to hear 24 songs from Bisen-Hersh's catalog featuring material from Love Quirks, More to Love, Stanley's Party, Malka, If Adele Can Do It, So Can I and The Final Frontier... including 3 premieres! Songs will include 'Thanksgiving Day', 'It's Not You, It's Me', 'I'm Not Interested in You', 'I Like Big Girls', 'Dear Facebook', 'It's Not You, It's Me' and 'Can You Believe I Was Ever Sad We Broke Up?'.

All the proceeds for the evening will go to the Humane Society of New York, which has 'cared for animals in need when illness, injury or homelessness strikes' for over 100 years. The Humane Society saved Bisen-Hersh's cat, Smee's, life in 2009, and this annual benefit is his way of saying thanks.?
