MGM+, a premium linear channel and streaming service, announced that the contemporary sci-fi horror series FROM has been renewed for a 10-episode third season. Created and executive produced by John Griffin (Crater) and executive produced by showrunner Jeff Pinkner (Lost, Alias, Fringe), and director Jack Bender (Lost, Game of Thrones).

The series premiere of FROM was EPIX’s most viewed original series premiere in the history of the premium network and current performance analytics track that the entire series is on pace to be EPIX’s second most-watched original behind Emmy winning series Godfather of Harlem, executive produced by and starring Forest Whitaker. 

EPIX has released the first trailer for their contemporary sci-fi horror series, From. Starring Harold Perrineau, the cast features Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, Shaun Majumder, Corteon Moore, Pegah Ghafoori, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, Elizabeth Moy and Avery Konrad.

The nine-episode limited-event series premieres Thursday, Dec. 17.

Soulpepper takes on a classic American script in their new production of Sam Shepard's FOOL FOR LOVE, directed by Frank Cox-O'Connell. With simple staging and a compact ensemble, the production implements some interesting and timely ideas but overall leaves something to be desired.
