Edwina Cox BIO

Edwina, also known as Eddy, is originally from Australia and has lived in the UK since 1993. Her Australian theatre credits include Leisl in the Sound of Music, the title role in Irene, Bombalurina in Cats, Jerry's Girls, Virtue in Anything Goes, Linda Washbrook in Chorus Of Disapproval, Esther in Seven Little Australians, Lynne in Stepping Out, Kathy in Company and Sister Mary Leo in Nunsense. Television credits include two guest leads in A Country Practice and the role of Tracey in the ABC mini series The Body Surfers. Variety includes The Midday Show, Heh Heh it's Saturday and Good Morning Australia. Since arriving in London her West End Credits include Crazy for You, Joanna in Sunset Boulevard, Understudy to Wallis Simpson in Always, Original cast Chicago, My Fair Lady, Anything Goes, and Once in a Lifetime at the National theatre. Other credits include Paradise Moscow for Opera North, White Queen Chess in Denmark and two UK tours of White Christmas. Television credits include The Laurence Olivier Awards, Children in Need, Dancing in the Streets, Good Morning and working with David Suchet in Act of God. In a creative role her credits include dance captain Chess (Denmark), and Stars of the Musicals (Kuala Lumpur), choreographer for Don Juan in Soho (Guildhall Barbican) and Iph (Mercury Theatre), and assistant director for the UK tour Join the Girls. Eddy currently performs and directs the Corporate Company of Chicago the Musical both in the UK and abroad and is thrilled to be returning to the show in the role of Dance Captain.
