The Mercury Theater of the Air broadcast about a Martian invasion, the process of putting it together and the reaction that followed, as well as myths about it and the media reaction, are the topic of 'Panic on the Front Page,' a new play being presented by Studio Theatre Long Island Jan. 13 to Jan. 29.

Studio Theatre's Bayway Arts Center in East Islip will host the NY Metro area premiere of GRUMPY OLD MEN: THE MUSICAL.

Lone Star Theatre Co will presents BIG TEX SHORT FEST, an evening of short plays made quickly. The event features five new short plays by Texas playwrights Emily Comisar, David Davila, Virginia Grise, Kevin Kautzman, and Judith Leora directed by Nilsa Reyna, Daniel Roberts, Benita DeWit, Diego M. Chiri, and Jeremy Karafin.

David Davila's play MEN OF GOD will receive a staged reading for Lone Star Theatre Co's 2014/2015 'Texas Reads' series. The reading will be held tonight, Oct 10 and will be the second play by Davila to be read for 'Texas Reads.'
