Africanism Sparks Relaunch with Erik Hagleton's 'City Of Gold'
After a few years on ice, Bob Sinclar's Africanism label is making its grand return. Initially launched in 2001 in collaboration with DJ Gregory, the label has now reemerged under the wing of Amsterdam-based record label Armada Music to create a new wave with fresh productions and instant classics, of which Erik Hagleton's 'City Of Gold' is the first.

Last Friday saw London's beloved venue, 93 Feet East throw open its freshly painted black doors to welcome friends, family, industry heads and press to an exclusive view of the newly refurbished and relaunched space. The evening consisted of delicious food courtesy of Nanny Bills, music from deep house pioneer Enrico Mantini plus a specially curated exhibition by prolific artist Normski - which will be available for the public to view in the near future. Music across the weekend consisted of Patrice Scott, Santé, Archie Hamilton and Sidney Charles throwing it down to a packed out crowd on Saturday, plus the launch of brand new Sunday event series Belong, with sets throughout the day byJan Kruger, Molly, Rich NxT and Joseph Williams.
