Charles Pistone – Acting credits include Joe in the Broadway revival of Frank Loesser's The Most Happy Fella (Cast Album), Frank Manero (Replacement)in the Broadway production of Saturday Night Fever, Valentin in Kiss of the Spiderwoman (London and New York productions), and The News. He also starred as Javert in the First National Tour of Les Miserables, and the title role in Phantom at the Westchester Broadway Theatre. Recent credits include Walter Hobbs in Elf and Phil Cavalleri in Love Story at Walnut Street Theatre, Signor Nacarelli in The Light in the Piazza at Philadelphia Theater Company (Barrymore Award Nominee), and Sal Penza in Romeo and Bernadette at the Papermill Playhouse. He has also been featured in numerous Off-Broadway and regional theater productions, including The Gig (York Theater), Richard Cory (Lincoln Center Premieres), Chess (Alliance), Captains Courageous (Goodspeed), The Secret Garden (Pittsburgh CLO), Jane Eyre (Studio Arena), Guys and Dolls (Casa Manana), and South Pacific (St Louis MUNY). Recordings include the recently released cast album of “The Gig” (Jay Records), Comden and Green’s “Billion Dollar Baby”, “The Most Happy Fella” Broadway Cast Album (RCA), and “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” soundtrack. Concert work includes appearances with the Hartford Symphony, BBC Radio Orchestra, and “Pennies From Heaven” with Michael Feinstein at Carnegie Hall. On television, he has been featured on Law and Order, All My Children, One Life To Live, Another World, and in the NBC movie: Howard Beach: Making the Case for Murder.

Broadway's Andrea Rivette to Perform at Firehouse, 2/9

Firehouse Theatre Project once again brings Broadway to Richmond with a one night only performance by Richmond Theatre Critics Circle (RTCC) Award winner Andrea Rivette, Sunday, February 9th at 8pm. Based on the popular film, Elf tells the heartwarming story of Buddy, an orphaned baby who crawls into Santa's toy bag and is accidentally taken to the North Pole. Buddy is raised as an elf until his size and inept toy-making skills force him to face the facts. So, he heads to New York to meet his newly discovered human father, a children's book publisher who turns out to be quite the Grinch. It seems his dad's on the naughty list, his half-brother doesn't believe in Santa and New York is completely lacking in Christmas spirit. It's up to Buddy to bring his new family together and save Christmas for all!

Philadelphia Theatre Company Extends LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA Thru 12/13

Responding to the popular demand for tickets, Philadelphia Theatre Company is extending its production of the multiple Tony Award-winning musical, The Light in the Piazz, until Sunday, December 13. Performances for the extension week will follow the current schedule, with shows on Tuesdays at 6:30, Wednesdays at 1:00 and 7:00, Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00, Saturdays at 2:00 and 8:00, and Sundays at 3:00.
