On Tuesday evening June 20, The North/South Chamber Orchestra will conclude its 37th consecutive season performing four works by living composers from the Americas.

Ian Maksin, cellist, composer and vocalist, celebrates the release of his most recent CD, "Zaria" - Where the Earth Ends and Music Begins.  Maksin, internationally renowned for his unique ability to blend different and unusual genres and styles, takes this concept to yet another orbit with the release of "Zaria".

The Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival (CCCMF), celebrating 37 years as Cape Cod's premiere presenter of summer chamber music, presents Brian Zeger Returns with Imani in two concerts on Monday, August 1, 7:30 pm, at Church of the Holy Spirit, 204 Monument Road, Orleans, and on August 2, 7 pm at Cotuit Center for the Arts, 4404 Falmouth Road (Route 28), Cotuit.

Van Cliburn Competition Gold Medalist Stanislav Iodenitch, a piano virtuoso hailed for playing with "laserlike clarity" (The Boston Globe), performs Tchaikovsky's iconic Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Young Artists Symphony Orchestra, led by Artistic Director Alexander Treger, in a free concert capping the orchestra's highly successful inaugural season on Sunday, May 1, 2016, 6 pm, at UCLA's Royce Hall.  The all-Russian program also includes Tchaikovsky's enthralling Suite from Swan Lake and Lyadov's Kikimora, a tone poem about a malicious spirit from Russian folklore.  Additionally, to celebrate the conclusion of its first season, YASO is hosting a separate ticketed post-concert soiree, featuring a buffet dinner and jazz performances by Nigel Armstrong, former concertmaster under Treger, Julian Zheng, YASO principal horn, and other YASO artists.

Young Artists Symphony Orchestra (YASO), Los Angeles's newest orchestra led by Artistic Director Alexander Treger, a noted conductor, music educator and former Concertmaster of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, launches its inaugural season with a free celebratory concert featuring Mahler's seminal Symphony No. 2 in C minor, "Resurrection," hailed as "one of the musical touchstones of our time" (The New York Times), on Sunday, October 11, 2015, 7 pm, at UCLA's Royce Hall, the orchestra's home venue.  Featured guest artists include Amanda Achen, soprano, Nike St. Clair, mezzo-soprano, and the Angeles Chorale, under the direction of Artistic Director John Sutton.  The recently established pre-professional training orchestra champions, mentors and inspires the next generation of outstanding young musicians for careers in classical music.

The Los Angeles Master Chorale (LAMC) concludes its year long 50th Anniversary Season celebration on Sunday, June 8, 2014, 7 pm, at Walt Disney Concert Hall, with 'Today, Tomorrow & Beyond,' a forward-looking program conducted by Music Director Grant Gershon featuring the world premieres of three works commissioned by the acclaimed choir in honor of its 50th jubilee.

On Sunday, October 17th at 2pm, the French-based Zodiac Trio will perform on the Schneider Series at the New School School's Tishman Auditorium, making it the first clarinet-violin-piano ensemble to be presented by the series in its 54-year history.
