BWW Interview: Playwright E. M. Lewis' Having a Good Year In THE LIGHT


Next up at Boston Court Pasadena, the world premiere of E. M. Lewis' HOW THE LIGHT GETS IN, with previews beginning September 19th and opening set for September 28th. Emilie Pascale Beck directs the cast of Amy Sloan, Ryun Yu, Chelsea Kurtz and Dieterich Gray who play four lonely people who find each other when one of them falls apart. I had the chance to delve into the creative mind of the much produced E. M. Lewis.

The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra presents Symphony Soiree - Onstage with the Orchestra on April 10, 2015. The black tie event, presented in partnership with Forte - MSO Volunteer League, offers a musical adventure in celebration and support of the MSO. Guests will have the unique opportunity to sit onstage with MSO musicians and experience a performance up close, followed by an evening of dinner and dancing at the InterContinental Hotel. The event is chaired by Matthew Pamperin of QuadMed and Amy Sloane of Deloitte.

BWW Reviews: Dark Comedy GOD OF CARNAGE Slays in La Mirada


To borrow a tagline from the long-running reality TV series 'The Real World,' the wickedly amusing GOD OF CARNAGE shows exactly 'what happens when people stop being polite... and start getting real.' Well, at least, 'real' in a comically over-the-top way, that is. This outrageous farce---directed by Michael Arabian and featuring some top-notch, gusto-tinged performances from its four-person cast---continues its regional Southland performances at the La Mirada Theater for the Performing Arts through February 16.
