New Plays to Premiere in Community Gardens in Manhattan & Brooklyn


Now in its fifth year, Communal Spaces: a garden play festival will premiere eight new short plays inspired by and performed in four community gardens in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The festival will take place in the last three weekends on September.

3 VOICES THEATRE has announced the world premiere of Mein Uncle, an absurdist fairytale about the seeds of inhumanity, written and directed by Aliza Shane (NY IT Award for Outstanding Short Script, The Three Sillies). 13th Street Rep to Premiere THE BAGHDAD DIARIES, 3/13-22

Featuring a rotating repertory of celebrity hosts and guest performers including Bebe Neuwirth, Josh Hamilton, Bobby Cannavale, Derek Phillips, Daniel Sunjata and Fire Dept company members David Strathairn, Janeane Garofalo, Gloria Reuben and Tony Award winner Denis O'Hare.
