THE STORYTELLERS, a new play based on the short stories of Edgar Allan Poe, Saki, Robert W. Service and W.W. Jacobs, will be adapted and directed by Abigail Strange (FringeNYC/CapitalFringe's Blanche: The Bittersweet Life of a Wild Prairie Dame, NYMF's Requiem for a Lost Girl) with original music by Louis Aquilar (Theatreworks USA!) as a part of the 17th annual New York International Fringe Festival. THE STORYTELLERS begins performances today, Friday, August 9, 2013 and will play its final performance on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at New York City's Flamboyan Theater (107 Suffolk Street).

Tickets for THE STORYTELLERS range from $15 - $18 and are available at www.FringeNYC.com. The playing schedule for THE STORYTELLERS is as follows: Friday, August 9 at 4:45pm; Saturday, August 10 at 7:15pm; Monday, August 12 at 4:45pm; Wednesday, August 14 at 2:00pm; and Saturday, August 17 at 9:15pm.

As thrilling tales of murder and mystery spiral into reality, THE STORYTELLERS brings to life the tales of notorious suspense artists Edgar Allan Poe, Saki, Robert W. Service and W.W. Jacobs, exploring life, death and the art of storytelling through inventive stagecraft and original music.

Starring Louis Aquilar, Tyler Gattoni, Patrick Harman (Rated M for Mature - FringeNYC 2012), Bethany McNamara, Kristin Nemecek, andChristopher Wentworth, THE STORYTELLERS has lighting design by Joseph Robert Walls (NYMF's The Brontes, Blanche: The Bittersweet Life of a Wild Prairie Dame) and features original music by Louis Aquilar.
