Piper Theatre Productions (John P. McEneny, Artistic Director, Mina Jones, General Manager), in association with producers, Mike Mergo, Aaron Novak, and John DeSilvestri, present Mike Mergo's new one-act play, Stilled. Directed by Ilana Becker, (Argument Sessions, Dixon Place; Waiting for Lefty, Hartley House), Stilled Features Mike Mergo and Aaron Novak (The Island of Dr. Moreau, Edinburgh Fringe Festival) as Manni and Jeff, Lighting Design by Daniel Winters (Mayday Mayday, St. Anns Warehouse; Drama Desk Nominee for The Man Who Laughs, Stolen Chair Theater Co.), Set Design by Colin McGurk, Sound Design by Toby Jaguar, and Costume Design by Sarah Bertolozzi.

An original play set In a small, North Eastern Pennsylvania town, Stilled is the story of professional drinkers and lifelong friends, Jeff and Manni, who have been sloshing their way through their twenties. With a new year beginning, and the pressures of real life just starting to soak in, they struggle to let go of their routine before it can drag them down irreparably.

Stilled will be performed nightly at Theater for the New City from March 19th through March 23rd (Wednesday Through Saturday at 8pm, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 3pm). Tickets are $18 and are now available now through Brown Paper Tickets (http://tinyurl.com/StilledTix) or purchasable at the door the night of the performance. Theater for the New City is located at 155 1st Ave. (between 9th and 10th streets) and is accessible from the 6,N,R and L trains.
