The Barrow Group is proud to announce its 2015/2016 season. The Barrow Group's season will include main stage productions, as well as festivals and one-night only events dedicated to showcasing new works.

"We're producing again and beyond thrilled to kick off things with Craig Wright's extraordinary play THE PAVILION," says Seth Barrish. "Rarely have I seen an entire production team as excited about a project. It feels like something extremely special is in the works."

The Barrow Group launches their season on June 10 with the Pulitzer Prize Nominated play THE PAVILION, co-directed by Lee Brock and Alyson Schacherer. THE PAVILION begins previews at the TBG Theatre at The Barrow Group (312 West 36th Street 3rd Floor) on June 10, 2015, with an opening night currently scheduled for June 15, 2015. THE PAVILION will play a strictly limited engagement through June 28, 2015.

THE PAVILION will star Seth Barrish ("Veep," "Damages") as the Narrator, Dusty Brown (Phoenix, The Upright Citizens Brigade) as Peter, and Julie Voshell (The Beast) as Kari. Hailed by critics as an "an Our Town for our time," The Pavilion brings us into a beautifully rendered world that is funny, heartbreaking, and most of all, life-affirming. Tickets for THE PAVILION are $18 and can be purchased now at www.SmartTix.com or by calling 212-868-4444.

The Barrow Group will present their 8th Annual SHORT STUFF in November 2015. An evening of new short works, past participants in Short Stuff have included Arlene Hutton (Last Train to Nibroc, See Rock City, Running), Scott Organ (Phoenix at the Cherry Lane Theatre), Craig Pospisil (Months on End, Life is Sort), Jon Marans (The Temperamentals, Old Wicked Songs), and Stefanie Zadravec (Honey Brown Eyes, The Electric Baby). This year's participants will be announced at a later date.

In January 2016, Anthropological Theatricals in association with The Barrow Group will present TRUE HAZARDS OF CHILDHOOD, a new devised theatre piece in which an archeologist and her mute assistant investigate a mysterious artifact recently excavated from her Mom's basement. Determined to unlock its mysteries, but realizing that scientific methodology will only get them so far, they embark on a series of highly unorthodox investigative techniques. Who knew science could be so much fun? Inspired by stories about the gap between child and adult world perspectives, TRUE HAZARDS OF CHILDHOOD incorporates material collected from workshops, classes, and experiments conducted at The Barrow Group over the last three years of its development. The show will be performed by Jean E. Taylor and Andres Petersen, and directed by Eric Nightengale.

The Barrow Group will again host the 24-HOUR PLAY FEST in August 2015, a 24-hour creative experience in which TBG students will serve as writers, directors, and actors to create and perform new short plays. The 24-Hour Play Fest returns for its third year, with more details to be announced at a later date.

In addition, The Barrow Group will celebrate the book launch of An Actor's Companion by co-Artistic Director Seth Barrish (with a forward by Anne Hathaway) on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Publisher Terence Neimath will join Seth for conversation, a Q&A session, and light refreshments.

The Barrow Group develops sophisticated, yet remarkably simple techniques that increase spontaneity in performance and clarity in storytelling. TBG utilizes these techniques in productions, connecting with diverse audiences. They share their approach, with professional actors, directors, writers, aspiring artists and young people through workshops, classes and publications.
