Author Gerard Alessandrini and producers John Freedson, Christine Pedi, and David Zippel recently announced that Spamilton, a sneak peek into Forbidden Broadway creator Alessandrini's ongoing obsession with Lin-Manuel Miranda's Hamilton, has extended through October 30, due to popular demand.

The musical, which promises an evening that celebrates, roasts and eviscerates the Broadway blockbuster, will celebrate an official opening night tonight, September 8, 2016 at the Triad (158 West 72nd Street).

Spamilton recently instituted an unprecedented 10-cent ticket lottery, coined #Spam4Roosevelt based on FDR on the American dime, taking after the popular #Ham4Ham lottery tradition being offered before select performances of Hamilton. Participants may enter the lottery in person at the Triad 40 minutes prior to curtain time to enter their names for the chance to see that evening's performance. 30 minutes prior to the show, names will be chosen at random by Alessandrini himself. Limit one entry per person and up to two tickets per winner. Tickets are subject to availability.

Starring a hot young cast that includes Juwan Crawley, Chris Anthony Giles, Nicholas Alexander Rodriguez, Dan Rosales, andNora Schell, with Music Director Fred Barton at the piano, along with special surprise guest stars, including Christine Pedi and additional divas, who will pop in weekly to add to the fun.

In addition to Alessandrini, the creative team of Spamilton includes Gerry McIntyre (Choreography), Dustin Cross (Costume Design), Richard Danley (Musical Arrangements), and Michael Cassara, CSA (Casting Director). The show is produced by John Freedson, Christine Pedi, and David Zippel.
