Winners have been announced for Avenue Q's contest to suggest what is in the box that the musical's Hillary Clinton puppet is giving to the Donald Trump puppet in the photo to the left.

The contest was held on the occasion of Avenue Q's having reached the 3000 performance mark at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, NY, NY 10019) on Wednesday, January 4. Winners will receive a pair of tickets for the pre-show, performance and after-party when Avenue Q celebrates its 13th birthday with a Bat/Bar Mitzvah-style event on January 12 at New World Stages.

The winners of Avenue Q's photo contest were announced, January 4th by the show's own pop culture and top political pundits, puppets Rod and Lucy The Slut. Check out the video!

The prize for each winner includes two (2) tickets to Avenue Q in New York City for the Thursday, January 12 at 8pm performance and pre and post-show festivities for the performance which will be celebrated bar-mitzvah/bat-mitzvah style as the musical turns 13, and begins its 14th year on New York stages!

AVENUE Q became an overnight sensation on Broadway in July 2003 following a sold-out engagement -- extended four times -- presented Off-Broadway by Vineyard Theatre and TheNew Group.

AVENUE Q is produced at New World Stages, as it was on Broadway, by Kevin McCollum,Robyn Goodman, Jeffrey Seller, The Vineyard Theatre and The New Group.

At the 499-seat theatre at New World Stages, Avenue Q performs Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00pm, Saturdays at 2:30 pm and 8:00pm and Sundays at 3:00pm and 7:30 pm.
