Legendary Swiss performance troupe Mummenschanz is coming to the Alden Theatre in McLean for two performances, 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, and 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31. The performances are part of the troupe's first U.S. tour since 2003. Tickets are $40, $35 for McLean tax district residents. The theatre is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue.

Mummenschanz is the pioneering performance troupe that in the 1980s created a non-verbal theatrical language that transcended the traditional barriers of nationality and culture. The group's program showcases some of its most beloved, imaginative and humorous characters from over the years and some newer pieces. These exclusive, Alden Theatre performances will be Mummenschanz's only performances in the Greater Washington/Baltimore area during this tour.
