Theatre Of War presents a new adaptation of the Danish fairy tale, "The Emperor's New Clothes." Hans Christian Andersen's 1837 text&plot serve as groundwork for a scathingly fresh commentary on "unconcerned leaders." Part Contemporary Greek myth, part family drama, the atmospheric adaptation chronicles the last days of an unnamed, self-obsessed Emperor who learns the sacred art of humility&humiliation from two strange visitors disguised as weavers. An exploration of vanity, fathers, mass propaganda, vengeance, salvation.

WILLIAMSBURG'S 'CLOUD CITY' will host new version of "THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES"
The adaptation proposes the outcome of our country were it under the Trump Administration
Just listen to how that sounds in your mouth. "The Trump Administration"
