Desiree has charmed audiences across the country as a dynamic and versatile singer and entertainer. She continues to dazzle with her interpretations of soul, jazz, theatre and pop music in an intimate cabaret setting. Don't miss this Richmond daughter in her CenterStage debut!

Tony has won critical and popular acclaim for his concert performances throughout the United States as well as in Australia, Japan and Hong Kong. DeSare's noted vocal versatility thrills audiences from major jazz rooms like Birdland and the Blue Note to posh nightclubs like the Café Carlyle and Feinstein's at the Regency.

"DeSare belongs to a group of neo-traditional upstarts stretching from Harry Connick, Jr. to Michael Bublé," raves the New York Times. Tony performs with such infectious joy, wry playfulness, and robust musicality – you will see how he has earned his reputation as one of country's hottest young singer/pianists.

Amanda McBroom

April 14, 2013 – 2 p.m.

Amanda McBroom has been called "...the greatest cabaret performer of her generation, an urban poet who writes like an angel and has a voice to match." Her name first came to the attention of the music public when Bette Midler's version of Amanda's song "The Rose" hit number one all over the world in 1979.

But it was Amanda's performance of her own song on the Golden Globes (she won), GRAMMYs (she didn't) and The Tonight Show that launched her career as a singer as well as songwriter. Her songs have been recorded by the likes of Bette Midler, LeAnn Rimes, Barry Manilow, Judy Collins, and Harry Belafonte, but audiences worldwide are dazzled by the best interpretations of McBroom songs – sung by McBroom herself. Don't miss this opportunity to see a music legend, right here at Richmond CenterStage!
