Photo Flash: Virginia Stage Company's PETER AND THE STARCATCHER Begins Tonight

Virginia Stage Company's 37th Season kicks off tomorrow with three preview performances of PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, a play by Rick Elice and based on the novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. The show is a high-paced and ever-witty rambunctious tale of the birth of Peter Pan and his lost boys. 12 actors play over 100 roles on a stage made of ropes, ladders, and the audience's imagination. After the three preview performances, PETER AND THE STARCATCHER officially opens tonight, September 25, and concludes on October 11. Tickets for each show start as low as $19, a radically different price than in seasons past. The best seats in the theatre are available for $55, with discounts for groups, students, and the military. Virginia Stage Company is Southeastern Virginia's leading theater destination, serving an audience of over 70,000 annually both at the Wells Theatre and throughout the community.
