Look there! Up in the sky! It's a bird, it's a plane...

It's the FASTER THAN A SPEEDING BULLET at The Theatre at St. Claude!

The Theater at St Claude presents the first annual FASTER THAN A SPEEDING BULLET, 1-minute theatre event. 60 Hulk-Smashing 1-minute plays by over 30 New Orleans writers, including playwrights, comedians, and burlesque artists. Running only two nights at the Theatre at St Claude. June 10 & 11th.

The nitty gritty of FASTER THAN A SPEEDING BULLET: 60 1-minute plays, 30+ Playwrights, 20 actors, 15 directors, 2 nights! Holy 1-minute theatre, Batman!

And that's not all.

Each night the audience will be able to vote on their favorite plays, and the top 3 will go home with comics, gift cards, and gear. The performers won't be the only one going home with goodies, every night there will be a costume contest, with guest and local celebrity judges.

But wait, there's more!

Last but not least, before and after each performance the audience will be able to jump inside a comic book with the epic photo booth, complete with posing cosplay legends.

FASTER THAN A SPEEDING BULLET is the conception of nerdtastic director/producer Megan Eileen Kosmoski and The Theatre at St Claude who both believe in the power of the playwright! In this event, voices scattered across the city will assemble for the greater theatre good, bringing awareness to the amount of talented writers we have lurking in our shadows.

It's not only the festival we want... It's the festival we need!
